The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) releases a new analysis piece by Galip Dalay, a researcher in the political research department at the SETA Foundation, on Turkey’s Kurdish peace process.
In his analysis titled “The Kurdish Peace Process: Ideology, Interest, and the Regional Dynamics,” Dalay elaborates on the regional context of the Kurdish peace process in Turkey and argues that the de-securitization of the Kurdish issue, burgeoning ties between the Kurdistan regional government and Turkey, and the outbreak of the Syrian crisis and its Kurdish dimension have facilitated another attempt at solving Turkey's Kurdish problem.
